Welcome from Dr. Jackson
On behalf of our church family at Peninsula, welcome to our website. I hope the information contained here gives you a better understanding of not only where God is leading us -- but also some of the great work the Lord is performing through the various ministries at Peninsula.
Early in 2005 we released a tag line that summarizes our purpose in a new way; it is:"Pointing the way to life...a life filled with
faith, hope, and love found only in Jesus Christ."
This verse jumped out at me while Linda and I were reading through the New Testament in the modern paraphrase called The Message. In his letter to Titus, Paul states: "My aim is to raise hopes by pointing the way to life without end." (Titus 1:2) Paul reminds us that this is what every Christian is about--pointing the way to life. As pastor, I want our church to lead in reaching out to every person and family whose lives may be pointed in the wrong direction, show them the way to life through Jesus Christ, and help one another become all that God intends us to be by continuing to grow in the faith.
