Did you know that when Jesus said that, he was quoting scripture? (Deuteronomy 8:3) • The Bible not only gives birth to understanding, it nourishes us. And like Jesus, we can have that nourishment when we know God's Word.

We offer several small-group Bible studies. Please explore the current schedule of classes (which also includes listings for support groups and evening discipleship classes).

Adults

MasterLife 3: Disciple's Victory Sundays at 5:15pm - Room E-10

This study, based on Ephesians 6:10-20, helps Christians gain victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil. Beginning February 5th, 2012, we will deepen and develop our prayer lives and gain skills using God's Word. Led by Pastor Simon.

BS at the Bou Mondays at 8 pm - Caribou Coffee, Mooresville

A gathering of young adults who informally study the Bible. Each evening includes fellowship, a topic of study, and prayer. Facilitated by Rob Houck Mondays from 8:00pm to 9:00pm.

Men's Bible Study 1st & 3rd Tuesdays at 8:30 am - Bojangles

The Men's Bible Study meets at 8:30 a.m. on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month at the Bojangles closest to the church. Join us as we glean wisdom from the Book of Proverbs. Led by Michael Zip.

"Falling in Love with Jesus" Wednesdays at 6:45 pm, Room E-13

In their book, "Falling in Love with Jesus: Abandoning Yourself to the Greatest Romance of Your Life," authors Brestin and Troccoli will introduce you to the ultimate love relationship of all time: a relationship with Jesus Christ. No matter your age or marital status, you are His bride, and the object of His affection. Led by Michelle Nichol.

DivorceCare Wednesdays at 6:30 pm - Room E-12

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Meets Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

Ladies Bible Study: Book of Hebrews Wednesdays at 9:30 am, Room E-12

During this ladies Bible study and prayer group, members continue to study the book of Hebrews and pray for needs within the class and community. Led by Eileen Palmer.

Prayer Meeting: "A Passion for Prayer" Wednesdays at 6:30 pm - Room E-10

Of all the disciplines of the Christian life, prayer is perhaps the most neglected. Yet Jesus' brief earthly life was permeated with prayer. Written by Tom Eliff, "A Passion for Prayer" will help you deepen your communion with God as you learn the principles, challenges, and disciplines of prayer. We will also spend time together in prayer for our community.

The Book of James Thursdays at 9:30 am, Whitley home

Genuine faith works on a daily basis by depending on the power of God. Join us as Jennifer Whitley leads us in an exploration of this inspiring and empowering book of the Bible.

Chinese Bible Study Fridays at 7:00 pm - Room E-11

This Bible Study is an outreach to the Chinese community in Mooresville. The lesson is taught in Mandarin Chinese on Friday nights from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Chinese Worship Service is also held on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 11:00 -12:00am.
