Giving

Giving is an act of worship. Paul told the Corinthians, "Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7).

GIVING OPTIONS

Peninsula Baptist Church is pleased to offer several convenient ways to give. Consider using one of these easy giving options as you tithe and give offerings to the church.

1. Secure Online Giving
Online Giving is now available! You can give by debit/credit card. Click the appropriate button below -- a secure link to get started! Your gift will be recorded on your giving statement. We will be improving this system later to allow multiple fund donations under one transaction and the ability to build a profile so the system will "remember" you when you return.

2. Directly Through Your Bank
You can set up a one-time or a recurring gift through your bank's online bill payment feature. This is usually a free service offered by most every bank these days. You can specify the dollar amount and time you would like the chruch to receive the gift. Currently, many families at Peninsula give using this method. Your gift will be recorded on your giving statement.

3. Envelope Services
For your convenience, offering envelopes are available for tithes and offerings. Simply place cash or checks (payable to Peninsula Baptist Church) in one of these envelopes and put it in the offering basket during any service, or mail it to Peninsula Baptist Church, and we will apply/record your gift. Be sure to indicate on the check or envelope whether the funds are for the regular offering, building fund, or other gift (specify). Contact the church if you would like envelopes mailed to your house.

4. Other Ways to Give
Another way you can give to your church is with a gift of appreciated stock or property. The donation carries full value to the church but the donor does not have to pay capital gains tax on the increased value of the stock or property. These gifts are acknowledged in a separate letter; not on your giving statement. If this is an option you are interested in please contact the Church Administrator at (704) 664-2958.
